I wander thro’ each charter’d street – Research into Psychogeography MAFAzine Issue 3
The indie music spaces in southeast China form a scenario psychogeograph for audience in this subculture environment.
These spaces refer to the space that independent musicians’ performance in (live house or outdoor stage), which usually locates in different areas in the urban environment and brings along related cultural industries.
The zine blow is my graphic analysis of representative cases selected from 36 lives I have gone to from 2016 to 2020 in southeast China.
The performances and environments have their own uniqueness in objective factors and abstract variables, such as entertainer genre and location, stage interaction, the atmosphere, the audience experience, etc.
